BUILDING - MATERIALS

We work with most materials, however we try to avoid certain unsustainable or toxic materials, such as rainforest or hardwood timbers, treated timbers, fibreglass insulation batts for example. We prefer plantation pine, naturally durable timbers, recycled timbers, polyester insulation batts. Besides strawbale we have worked with mudbrick, rammed earth, stone, as well as all the conventional materials such as weatherboard and brick veneer.
